Yellowstone River Expedition

A day in the National Park and 4 glorious day on the River

Queen of Montana Rivers, the Yellowstone flows for 678 miles, the longest free flowing river in the Continental U.S. This 5-day adventure begins with a day in the National Park. Crossing the 45th parallel, we wind our way up to Mammoth Hot Springs, where we spend the day exploring the natural geothermal wonders that led to stories of early explorer John Colter's "Hell." Then it's up into the mountains of Montana where we spend a night in the high-elevation aspen and spruce forest, at a camp unequalled in solitude and beauty.

On day two, we descend down into the Paradise Valley where we begin our float. For four days on the river, we paddle beneath the steep Absaroka Mountains, through William Clark's "Great Bend" at Livingston, and out into the openness of Big Sky Country. Join us for this unique experience on the namesake of our first National Park: the Yellowstone River!
